3D GAP Program Concept
Eleven:6 developed the 3D GAP Program to deliver a range of undergraduate general education and Bible courses using its integrated delivery framework.
Certificate in Applied Ministry
The purpose of this program is to survey foundational skills for leveraging God’s Word in life and ministry, then add ministry leadership foundations and discipline-specific ministry application skills in Youth Ministry, Urban Ministry, Family Ministry, Intercultural Ministry or Camp Ministry. The applied ministry concentration a student selects will be named on the certificate.
Certificate in Ministry Leadership
The purpose of this certificate program is to build foundational skills for leveraging God’s Word in life and ministry, then add ministry leadership foundations and professional ministry application skills. Students with non-ministry professional backgrounds involved in or transitioning to ministry roles, in particular, can develop biblical discipleship-driven ministry skills in this focused track.
LDR230 Introduction to Leadership
An introduction to leadership theory and practice, emphasizing personal leadership development, ethical decision-making, and team-building skills.
LDR301 Foundations of Leadership
This course is designed to disciple students in the role, qualifications, and skills of leadership. It is designed to introduce the student to the basic principles of leadership as they relate one-on-one, in small group environments, as well as in leading leaders within an organization. Attention will be given to learning to differentiate between various leadership styles, to identify exemplary role models from various contexts, to evaluate personal leadership tendencies and traits, and to help students begin to work on their own leadership skills.
